Scope

This standard specifies two methods for determining the adhesion strength between vulcanized rubber and the steel cord embedded in it: Method 1 and Method 2.
The test results obtained by these two test methods are not comparable.
This standard is applicable to samples prepared under standard laboratory conditions, and is mainly used for research and development and quality control of rubber products reinforced with steel cord in terms of materials and production processes.
