Scope
This part of GB/T 4797 specifies the basic characteristics, quantitative descriptions, and environmental condition classifications related to precipitation and wind environments for electrical and electronic products.
This part is applicable to providing background information for determining the severity levels of precipitation and wind-related parameters that electrical and electronic products may encounter during transportation, storage, and use.
When selecting the appropriate severity levels of precipitation and wind-related parameters for product applications, the values specified in GB/T 4796 should be used.
