Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, classification and marking, structure and materials, specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, and storage of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene steel skeleton composite pipes (hereinafter referred to as composite pipes).
This standard applies to pipes used for urban water supply, building water supply, fire water supply, and the transportation of special fluids (including suitable industrial wastewater, corrosive gas slurry, solid powders, etc.), as well as to composite pipes used for the transportation of oil and gas and wastewater in the oil and gas industry, and urban gas can be used as a reference. The temperature of the medium transported by composite pipes is suitable for -40 °C to 65 °C.
