Scope

This document describes a method for determining the boiling point range of petroleum products and their fractions, biodiesel containing fatty acid methyl esters, and BD100 biodiesel that can partially or completely evaporate when the maximum temperature of the liquid reaches 400 °C under reduced pressure conditions.
This document is applicable to petroleum products and their fractions, biodiesel containing fatty acid methyl esters with a distillation range of 274 °C to 400 °C, and BD100 biodiesel.
This document provides detailed explanations for both manual and automatic measurement methods. In case of disputes, arbitration tests shall be conducted using the manual measurement method under a mutually agreed distillation pressure.
