Scope

This standard specifies the standard materials, equipment, and process methods involved in the identification of carbon black using styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). This standard applies to the identification of the physical and mechanical properties of carbon black in styrene-butadiene rubber. Note: Using different equipment and testing methods in this standard will yield different test results. Therefore, carbon black needs to be tested under the same conditions as the reference carbon black.
