Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the content of aluminum, calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, silicon, and titanium by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICPAES). This standard is applicable to the determination of the following elements in natural iron ores, iron concentrates, and lump ores, as well as sintered ore products. The measurement ranges for each element are shown in Table 1.
