Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 27797 specifies the general principles for testing injection-molded bulk molding compounds (BMC) and provides design details for molds used to inject the same type of samples under repeatable injection conditions. Where appropriate, this part of GB/T 27797 also applies to the injection molding of sheet molding compounds (SMC). Its purpose is to enhance the consistency of key parameters in the injection molding process and establish uniform operating procedures in injection molding condition reports. Under special conditions, injection molding is used to compare experimental boards, and the injection material used needs to be changed. These conditions should be specified in the corresponding injection material method standards or agreed upon by both parties.
