Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and inspection rules for marine hydraulic pumps and hydraulic motors (hereinafter referred to as pump-motors. When the pump-motor is used as a pump, it is referred to as a pump; when it is used as a motor, it is referred to as a motor, and the same applies hereinafter).
This standard applies to the design and acceptance of volumetric pump-motors whose working medium is petroleum-based hydraulic oil.
