Scope
This standard specifies the design requirements and test methods for reciprocating whole-bore pumping pumps (hereinafter referred to as pumping pumps) used in rod pumping systems in the oil and gas industry.
This standard applies to pumping pump assemblies (including rod pumps and tube pumps) with a common pump diameter, as well as their parts and components in rod pumping systems. It provides sufficient dimensional requirements to ensure the standardization and interchangeability of all parts.
