Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 19472 specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, abbreviations, raw materials, pipe classification and marking, structural types and connection methods, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, and storage for polyethylene wrapped structural wall pipes and fittings used in underground applications. This part applies to structural wall pipes and fittings (or solid wall fittings) made from polyethylene (PE) resin as the main raw material, with polyolefin materials as auxiliary support structures, and manufactured by the winding molding process. The pipes and fittings specified in this part are suitable for underground drainage and sewage projects with a long-term working temperature below 45 °C.
