Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the setting, technical requirements, testing methods, and maintenance of on-land public freight transport signs in Shanghai City.
This standard applies to the application of graphic symbols in on-land public freight transport industries such as ordinary road freight transport, dedicated road freight transport, and road dangerous goods transport in Shanghai City. It also applies to publications and other information carriers. Foreign-province/city (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) freight enterprises with established branches within the administrative area of Shanghai City shall refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
