Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of self-closing liquefied petroleum gas cylinder valves (hereinafter referred to as "valves"), the model designation method of valves, structural types and basic dimensions, technical requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation. This standard applies to self-closing bottle valves on liquefied petroleum gas steel cylinders used in an ambient temperature range of -40 ℃ to +60 ℃, with a nominal working pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa, and the applicable medium conforming to GB 11174. This standard does not apply to automotive liquefied petroleum gas bottle valves. Note: All pressures in this standard refer to gauge pressure.
