Scope

This part of GB/T 31487 specifies the basic requirements for type testing, routine testing, on-site testing, periodic inspection, and equivalent testing of DC ice-melting devices. This part is applicable to thyristor-based DC ice-melting devices for AC transmission lines with voltages of 500 kV and below. DC ice-melting devices of other voltage levels and those based on other power devices can refer to this part for guidance.
