Scope

This part of GB/T 31487 specifies the basic requirements for the design and application of DC ice-melting device systems, including the design of DC ice-melting devices, functional performance, testing, technical requirements for main equipment, operation and maintenance, etc. This part is applicable to thyristor-based DC ice-melting devices for AC transmission lines with voltages of 500 kV and below.
