本标准规定了铸件采用数字探测器阵列(DDA)的X射线数字成像检测技术分级和补偿规则、一般要求、检测技术、图像评定、检测记录和报告等。
本标准适用于钢、铁、铜及铜合金、镍及镍合金、铝及铝合金、镁及镁合金、钛及钛合金等材料的铸件，其他金属材料铸件也可参照使用。
