GB/T 25444.6-2023 Mobile and fixed offshore units—Electrical installations—Part 6:Installation

Scope

This document specifies the installation requirements for electrical equipment on mobile and fixed offshore facilities, including pipelines, pump stations, or internal cleaning stations used in the offshore oil industry for drilling, production, accommodation, processing, oil storage, and unloading; air compressor stations; and single-buoy mooring facilities. This document stipulates the following requirements: -- Protection during equipment storage and installation; -- Generator and motor installation; -- Transformer installation; -- Installation of complete switchgear and control equipment; -- Installation of semiconductor converters and UPS systems; -- Installation of batteries and battery packs; -- Lighting fixture installation; -- Installation of electric heaters and kitchen appliances; -- Installation of heating and surface heating devices; -- Installation of low- and high-voltage cables and wires; -- Requirements for grounding and connection; -- Lightning protection; -- Completion testing; -- Documentation. This document applies to all permanent, temporary, movable, or handheld AC and DC equipment, without any voltage level restrictions. Reference equipment standards may specify voltage level limitations. This document does not apply to the following equipment: -- Medical fixed electrical equipment; -- Electrical equipment on liquid cargo ships; -- Equipment for controlling ignition sources other than those generated by electrical equipment.
