This standard specifies the method of determining the thermal conductivity of rubber materials by the hot wire method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the thermal conductivity of vulcanized rubber and uncured rubber.
This standard is not applicable to water-swellable rubber and rubber containing metal powder.
