Scope
This document specifies the detection principles, detection equipment, reference samples, verification, detection steps, result evaluation, and detection reports for phased array ultrasonic columnar imaging guided wave detection. This document is applicable to the detection of transverse defects in cylindrical structural components with a length not exceeding 1,500 m, an outer diameter not less than 10 m and not more than 100 m, and a length-to-diameter ratio of not less than 10.
