Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, energy consumption indicators, statistical scope, and calculation methods for rational energy use in large commercial buildings, as well as energy management requirements.
This standard applies to five types of large commercial buildings, including department stores and shopping centers with a floor area of ≥5,000 m2, supermarkets and warehouse stores with a floor area of ≥3,000 m2, restaurants with a floor area of ≥3,000 m2, and home appliance specialty stores with a floor area of ≥1,000 m2, for the calculation and evaluation of various energy consumption in their operation. Other commercial buildings may refer to and implement it accordingly.
