Scope

This part of GB/T 5170 specifies the inspection items, inspection instruments and requirements, inspection load, inspection conditions, inspection methods, inspection results, and inspection cycle for salt spray testing equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment"). This part is applicable to the inspection of equipment used in GB/T 2423.17 and GB/T 2423.18. This part is also applicable to the inspection of similar equipment. For the inspection of humidity and heat equipment used in alternating salt spray testing, see GB/T 5170.5-2016.
