Scope

Scope: This document specifies the production process of raw rice grain in Huai'an City. It describes terms and definitions, general requirements, seedling cultivation, field transplanting, field management, harvest and storage, and production archives. This document is applicable to the production of raw rice grain in Huai'an City for processing into "Huai'an Rice". Main technical content: 1. Terms and definitions: The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 1.1 Huai'an Rice Raw Rice Grain: Rice produced within the administrative area of Huai'an City in accordance with the requirements of this document and used for processing "Huai'an Rice". 2. General requirements: 2.1 Site environment: The site environment shall comply with GB 15618 and NY/T 391. 2.2 Planting scale: Single variety planting with a continuous planting area of ≥300 (667m2). 2.3 Variety selection and seed quality: Select high-quality rice varieties suitable for cultivation in the Huai'an region that have been approved by the state or Jiangsu Province or registered for introduction. The seed quality shall comply with GB 4404.1. 3. Seedling cultivation: 3.1 Mat mats: The mat mats shall comply with NY/T 1752, and the pot mats shall comply with DB 32/T 3132. 4. Field transplanting: 4.1 Land preparation and leveling: The land shall be plowed and leveled with a plowing depth of 8 cm to 12 cm, and the difference in field level shall not exceed 3 cm. The sludge shall be properly sedimented before transplanting. 4.2 Transplanting methods and requirements: 4.2.1 Manual transplanting of japonica rice: Row spacing 27 cm to 30 cm, planting spacing 14 cm to 15 cm, transplanting depth 2.0 cm to 3.0 cm, 3 seedlings per hole to 4 seedlings per hole; 4.2.2 Mechanical transplanting of japonica rice: Row spacing 30 cm, planting spacing 10 cm to 12 cm, transplanting depth 0.5 cm to 2.0 cm, 3 seedlings per hole to 5 seedlings per hole; 4.2.3 Mechanical transplanting of indica rice: Row spacing 3
