Scope
This standard specifies a method for calculating the thermal diffusion coefficient of materials by applying a flashlight source to the front of the sample and measuring the speed of temperature rise on the back of the sample.
This standard is applicable to uniform and isotropic vulcanized rubber on substrates with a temperature measurement range of 20 °C to 250 °C and a thermal diffusion coefficient of more than 0.01 mm2/s.
