Scope
This part of GB/T 23901 specifies the minimum image quality index to ensure the same radiographic quality.
This part adopts two image quality gauges, namely the line-type image quality gauge described in GB/T 23901.1 and the stepped-hole image quality gauge described in GB/T 23901.2. In addition, it also adopts the two methods of radiographic penetration described in GB/T 19943. For the two methods of radiographic penetration for ferritic materials, GB/T 19943 makes detailed provisions for their corresponding image quality indices.
