Scope

This document specifies the definition, basic requirements, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, storage, and transportation of melted solidified aggregates used in asphalt pavements. This document is applicable to aggregates used in the surface layer, base layer, and sub-base layer of asphalt pavements in road engineering. This document is also applicable to melted solidified aggregates produced by the incineration of municipal solid waste ash, and melted solidified aggregates produced by the incineration of hazardous waste bottom ash can be implemented in accordance with this document.
