Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structure, classification, specifications, nominal pressure and models, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, user manuals and certificates of conformity, packaging, transportation and storage for hydraulic balancing valves (hereinafter referred to as balancing valves) in heating and air conditioning systems.
This standard applies to balancing valves that manually adjust the hydraulic balance of the circulating water system (or glycol water solution) in centralized heating and air conditioning systems; their working pressure is not more than 2.5 MPa, the nominal diameter is DN15~DN400, and the working temperature is -10 ℃~130 ℃.
