Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for rubber hoses and hose assemblies reinforced with textiles and steel wires (ropes) used for conveying water-based and/or oil-based mud, with a maximum mud temperature of 82℃, transported by high-pressure and large-capacity pumps in rotary drilling facilities. When tested according to GB/T 262, the minimum aniline point of the mud shall be 66℃.
This standard applies to hoses that are resistant to aging and tropical conditions and are used in environments with temperatures between -20℃ and +52℃ (unless otherwise specified by the buyer in supplementary requirements).
This standard does not apply to hoses intended for gas use.
