This document describes the methods of measuring and calculating the gas flow rate during the factory testing of water ring vacuum pumps and water ring compressors (collectively referred to as pumps when no distinction is made).
This document is applicable to measuring the gas flow rate of pumps using orifice plates and metering nozzles, but metering nozzles are only suitable for measuring the gas flow rate of water ring vacuum pumps.
