Scope
This document describes the principles, samples, experimental implementation, experimental results, and experimental reports of the resin content test of carbon fiber reinforced plastics.
In this document, Method A: Digestion method is suitable for testing the resin content of carbon fiber reinforced plastics, where sulfuric acid completely decomposes the resin under certain conditions without excessively corroding the fibers; Method B: Calcination method is suitable for testing the resin content of carbon fiber reinforced plastics, where the resin is carbonized under a high-temperature nitrogen atmosphere without affecting the quality of the carbon fibers.
This document is not suitable for testing the resin content of carbon fiber reinforced plastics containing fillers.
