GB/T 17215.305-2025 Electricity metering equipment (AC)—Particular requirements—Part 5:Multi-branch electricity meters

Scope

This document specifies the classification and configuration of multi-loop energy meters (hereinafter referred to as "meters"), their nominal power values, structure, marking and documentation, metering performance, functions, climate environment, external influences, protection of metering performance, electrical requirements, and verification methods. This document applies to meters used for measuring and controlling AC energy in power grids with a voltage not exceeding 600 V and a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, with active power accuracy grades of Class A, Class B, and Class C, and reactive power (if applicable) accuracy grades of 0.5S, 1S, 1A, 2A, and 3A, as well as their type testing. This document applies to newly manufactured meters with multiple energy measurement loops.
