Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, inspection methods, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for copper chromium arsenic (CCA) wood preservatives. This standard applies to water-based composite preservatives made from compounds of copper, chromium, and arsenic. CCA wood preservatives are suitable for the preservation, pest (ant) control, and treatment against marine boring animals of construction materials, landscape materials, mining timber, railway sleepers, ship timber, marine materials, and other industrial and agricultural timber.
