Scope

This standard specifies the analytical methods for the pH value, ammonia, arsenic, chromium, copper, phosphate, boron, citric acid, didecyldimethylammonium chloride (DDAC) or dodecylbenzyldimethylammonium chloride (BAC) and other active ingredients of waterborne preservatives and flame retardants. This standard is applicable to the determination of the pH value of treatment solutions, the determination of ammonia in ammonia-soluble preservatives and flame retardants, the determination of arsenic in arsenic-containing preservatives, the determination of chromium in chromium-containing preservatives, the determination of copper in copper-containing preservatives, the determination of phosphate in Type C flame retardant formulations, the determination of boron in wood preservatives containing sodium tetraborate and treatment solutions prepared from it, the determination of citric acid content in preservatives, and the determination of DDAC (BAC) content in ACQ preservatives.
