This part of GB/T 24242 specifies the grades, technical requirements, and test methods for general-purpose wire rod made from non-alloy steel for silk production. This part applies to general-purpose wire rod made from non-alloy steel for the manufacture of cold-drawn or cold-rolled steel wire (hereinafter referred to as "wire rod").
