Scope

This standard specifies the product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for colored island polyester pre-oriented yarn. This standard applies to colored island polyester pre-oriented yarn produced with alkali-soluble polyethylene terephthalate as the sea phase and pre-dyed polyethylene terephthalate as the island phase, with a total linear density of 55 dtex to 300 dtex and a circular cross-section.
