本文件规定了电气火灾痕迹物证技术鉴定方法中剩磁检测法的原理、仪器、器材与材料、检材、方法和步骤、判据。本文件适用于火灾事故调查时，在建筑火灾现场未发现短路熔痕或雷击熔痕的情况下，根据对铁磁性金属导体检测得出的剩磁数据判定是否发生过大电流短路或雷击现象。
