Scope

This part of YY/T 0753 provides a method for short-term chloride sodium particle challenge tests in air, which is used to evaluate the filtration performance of respiratory system filters used for filtering respiratory gases.
This part is applicable to respiratory system filters used in clinical settings. It is not applicable to other types of filters, such as those used for protecting vacuum sources or gas sampling lines, for filtering compressed gases, or for protecting biological respiration measurement test equipment.
