Scope

This part of YY/T 0753 specifies the non-filtering aspects of breathing system filters (BSFs) used for anesthetic respiration, including their connection ports, leakage, airflow resistance, packaging, marking, and provided information. The test methods are intended for BSFs used in clinical respiratory systems.
This part does not apply to other types of filters, such as those specifically designed to protect vacuum sources or gas sampling pipelines, gas pressurized filters, or filters used to protect physiological respiration measurement test equipment.
Note: YY/T 0753.1 provides test methods for evaluating the filtering performance of breathing system filters.
