GB/T 14598.2-2025 Measuring relays and protection equipment—Part 1:Common requirements

Scope

This document specifies the general rules and requirements for measuring relays and protection devices, as well as distributed relay protection systems composed of control equipment, monitoring equipment, and process interface devices, in order to ensure the consistency of their technical requirements and test methods. This document covers the main technologies currently in use. Other emerging technologies may have specific electromagnetic compatibility and safety issues, but they should comply with the principles set forth in this document. This document applies to measuring relays and protection devices. In the event of special provisions in other standards in this series, those special provisions shall take precedence. Typical application scenarios for measuring relays and protection devices include power plants, substations, and factories, where electrical equipment protection is required. For special usage environments (such as navigation, railways, aerospace, explosive environments, computer centers, etc.), special requirements may be formulated separately on the basis of this document.
