Scope
This document describes the test methods for the dry heat shrinkage rate and dry heat shrinkage force of impregnated yarns, ropes, and curtain cords in hot air.
This document is applicable to the testing of the dry heat shrinkage performance of impregnated yarns, ropes, and curtain cords made from nylon, polyester, vinylon, aramid, and rayon. It is also applicable to the testing of the dry heat shrinkage performance of non-impregnated yarns, ropes, and curtain cords made from the above fibers.
