Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy-saving evaluation values, test methods, and inspection rules for external power supplies (hereinafter referred to as "products") that convert AC voltage into fixed, single-path low-voltage DC (not exceeding 36 V) or low-voltage AC (not exceeding 36 V) output voltage under the condition of 220 V, 50 Hz power supply.
This standard applies to products with a rated output power of not more than 250 W.
This standard does not apply to DC-DC power supplies, nor to products for special purposes such as supplying power to industrial equipment and medical devices.
