Scope

This part is Part 2 of GB/T 9870 "Determination of the Dynamic Performance of Vulcanized Rubber or Thermoplastic Rubber". This part specifies the method of using a torsion pendulum device to determine the dynamic performance of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber in shear state - shear modulus and mechanical damping, under low frequency (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz) and strain not exceeding 0.05% conditions, in a wide temperature range.
