Scope

This standard specifies type 2 non-metallic inserts hexagonal locking nuts with thread specifications of M5 to M36, performance grades of level 9 and level 12, and product grades of level A and level B. Level A is used for nuts with a diameter of D ≤ 16 mm; Level B is used for nuts with a diameter of D > 16 mm.
Note: This nut is equivalent to GB/T 6175 plus the effective torque part.
For other technical requirements, please refer to the current standards (such as GB/T 196, GB/T 3098.9, and GB/T 3103.1).
