Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, as well as transportation and storage of prefabricated directly buried insulated pipes and fittings made of glass fiber reinforced plastic outer sheath and polyurethane foam plastic.
This standard is applicable to prefabricated directly buried insulated pipes and fittings with a transmission medium temperature (long-term operating temperature) not exceeding 120 °C and an accidental peak temperature not exceeding 140 °C.
