GB 5959.9-2008 Safety in electroheat installations—Part 9:Particular requirements for high-frequency dielectric heating installations
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB 5959 specifies the special requirements for the personal safety of high-frequency medium heating devices (hereinafter referred to as high-frequency medium heating devices). This part applies to industrial high-frequency medium heating devices used for heat processing such as melting, drying, heat sealing, insect killing, and bonding of partially conductive or non-conductive materials such as plastics, wood, rubber, fabrics, glass, ceramics, paper, bamboo, and food in natural atmospheres and protective atmospheres (such as inert gases or vacuum). This part involves high-frequency medium heating devices with a nominal frequency of 1 MHz to 300 MHz and a rated useful output power of more than 50 W. The device includes a high-frequency generator and a capacitor for heating materials, and may also include necessary mechanical devices as required.
