Scope

This standard specifies the method principle, general requirements for instruments, instrument calibration requirements, test steps, result processing, and reporting for determining nitrogen oxides in gases using optical cavity ring-down spectroscopy.
This standard is applicable to the determination of nitrogen monoxide and nitrogen dioxide in gases. The measurement range of nitrogen monoxide is (1~1 000)×10-6 (volume fraction), and the measurement range of nitrogen dioxide is (0.1~1 000)×10-6 (volume fraction). This standard is not applicable to gases that interfere with absorption spectroscopy.
