Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the content of insoluble impurities in animal and vegetable oils. This standard is applicable to animal and vegetable oils. If soaps (especially calcium soaps) or oxidized fatty acids are not included in the calculation of the content of insoluble impurities, different solvents and operating methods should be used to ensure that the determination of the content of insoluble impurities meets the relevant requirements.
