Scope

This part of GB/T 23809 specifies the factors that need to be considered in the planning and design of external emergency guidance systems for buildings, and stipulates the types and usage requirements of information elements, the types and design requirements of guidance elements, the setting principles and requirements of emergency guidance systems, as well as evaluation and maintenance requirements.
This part is applicable to the setting of emergency guidance systems for natural disasters such as floods, debris flows, landslides, and tsunamis. For natural disasters such as tornadoes, volcanic eruptions, typhoons, and earthquakes, the setting of emergency guidance systems can be referenced for use when necessary.
This part is not applicable to the setting of emergency guidance systems in buildings and underground spaces. This part does not include technical content related to risk assessment and the analysis of emergency guidance system requirements.
Note: GB/T 23809.1 gives the setting principles and requirements for emergency guidance systems in public buildings. GB/T 23809.3 gives the setting principles and requirements for emergency guidance systems in underground spaces.
