Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, application guidelines, and inspection rules for self-adhesive labels on containers, as well as packaging, marking, transportation, and storage requirements.
This standard applies to identification marks on all types of containers, excluding marks applied by spray-painting and paper or PVC spray-marking templates used for such marking. Identification marks for container transport vehicles, port lifting equipment, etc. can be used as a reference.
