GB/T 28026.1-2011 Railway applications—Fixed installations—Part 1:Protective provisions relating to electrical safety and earthing
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 28026 sets out the requirements for the electrical safety and protection measures of AC/DC traction systems and ground electrical equipment that may be affected by traction systems.
This part also applies to the electrical safety requirements during the maintenance of traction system ground devices.
Note: Maintenance work may require on-site protection measures that are not specified in this part.
This part applies to all newly built electrified railways, and its principles can also be applied to existing electric traction power supply systems:
Its scope of application includes:
——Railways;
——Guided transport systems, such as: trams, elevated railways and metros, mountain railways, trolleybus systems and maglev systems;
——Material transport systems.
This part does not apply to:
——Underground mine traction systems;
——Cranes, rail-guided transport platforms and similar transport equipment, temporary buildings (such as exhibition structures), because there are currently no precedents of these facilities being powered by overhead lines, and they will not be affected by traction systems;
——Suspended cable cars;
——Cable railway systems;
——Maintenance projects.
