GB/T 19443-2017 Insulators for overhead lines with a nominal voltage above 1 500 V—Ceramic or glass insulator units for d.c. systems—Definitions, test methods and acceptance criteria
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the characteristics of ceramic or glass insulator strings used in DC overhead power lines (hereinafter referred to as insulators), as well as the conditions and acceptance criteria for verifying the specified values of these characteristics. This standard prescribes basic characteristic tests similar to those in GB/T 1001.1. To ensure the long-term performance of DC insulators, additional tests are required on this basis. Currently, these additional tests only involve disc-shaped suspension insulators. This standard applies to insulators used in DC overhead power lines with a nominal voltage of more than 1,500 V. This standard does not apply to composite insulators. This standard does not include insulator selection requirements or special tests under specific operating conditions, such as aging caused by specific operating conditions.
