Scope

This document describes the operational performance indicators and evaluation methods of service robots, particularly: -- grasping size; -- grasping force; -- grasping sliding resistance; -- opening hinged doors; -- opening sliding doors. Other grasping characteristics and use cases of service robots will be included in future revisions. This document is only applicable to indoor environments. However, the described tests can also be used for robots used in outdoor environments. This document is not applicable to the verification and confirmation of safety requirements.
